The NFL playoffs went to the dogs last year, with postseason pups posting an 8-5 against-the-spread mark – capped by Tampa Bay’s victory as a 3-point underdog in Super Bowl LV.
In fact, going back to 2017-18, postseason point spread underdogs are 29-17 ATS overall, covering in 63% of those tournament tilts. And the Wild Card Round has been the bigger purveyor of potent playoff pups, with NFL underdogs going 15-3 ATS the past four postseasons.

NFL futures odds didn’t shift a whole lot after Week 17 but the Kansas City Chiefs did see their Super Bowl odds shorten from +450 to +400.
KC has made two of the last three Super Bowls (winning in 2020) and is currently second on the futures board, trailing the Buffalo Bills, who are ahead by a nose at +375.

One week after shutting down Joe Burow, the Tennessee Titans will look to move to 3-2 straight up but will have to take on Shane Steichen and Anthony Richardson, who erased a 23-point deficit last week to the Rams only to fall in overtime. The Indianapolis Colts are slight favorites with a total set at 42.5 in NFL odds.
With Richardson another week removed from a concussion, possibly receiving some O-line help, getting Jonathan Taylor back, and just starting to touch on what this offense can be, should bettors be expecting another solid offensive output Sunday from the home side?

The Dallas Cowboys have found themselves in their first funk of the year, dropping two straight games heading into their Saturday Night Football matchup against the Detroit Lions. Dak Prescott will try to end the mini-losing streak against the NFC North champs in what could easily be a preview of a playoff matchup.
The Cowboys come into the matchup as a home favorite in the Week 17 odds. Prescott should play a huge role in any Dallas win, as the NFL’s leader in touchdown passes will go up against a Lions defense that has been mediocre against opposing quarterbacks.

La Liga matches will be played behind closed doors until at least 22 March, covering the next two rounds of top-tier fixtures in the country, to try and stop the spread of the coronavirus, while the top two leagues in France will see games without fans until 15 April. Portugal’s top two tiers are also shut off to fans this weekend, while Manchester United’s Europa League last-16 match against LASK on Thursday will also be a closed-doors affair.
Real Madrid host Eibar on Friday in the first affected LA Liga fixture, with the side’s 21 March game against Valencia also set to take place behind closed doors. League leaders Barcelona’s matches in the affected rounds are away at Mallorca and at home to Leganés.

Frank Lampard has admitted he has a point to prove at Everton and that he did not seek assurances over job security from Farhad Moshiri during talks to become the club’s sixth permanent manager in six years.

Mason Mount is expected to miss Manchester United’s Premier League matches against Nottingham Forest and Arsenal because of injury.
The summer signing picked up a “small complaint” during United’s 2-0 defeat against Tottenham on Saturday and is expected to be “out until the international break next month”, the club have announced.
