Dak Prescott Odds and Props: Dak on Track

The Dallas Cowboys have found themselves in their first funk of the year, dropping two straight games heading into their Saturday Night Football matchup against the Detroit Lions. Dak Prescott will try to end the mini-losing streak against the NFC North champs in what could easily be a preview of a playoff matchup.

The Cowboys come into the matchup as a home favorite in the Week 17 odds. Prescott should play a huge role in any Dallas win, as the NFL’s leader in touchdown passes will go up against a Lions defense that has been mediocre against opposing quarterbacks.

Frank Lampard has not asked Everton for assurances over long-term security

Frank Lampard has admitted he has a point to prove at Everton and that he did not seek assurances over job security from Farhad Moshiri during talks to become the club’s sixth permanent manager in six years.

Lampard ended 12 months out of the game on Monday when he was appointed by Everton on a two-and-a-half year contract. During an assured first press conference on Thursday, the 43-year-old said his new role “gets my juices flowing” and that his preferred style of play fitted neatly with the club’s traditions. But after being sacked by Chelsea – “one bad month and you lose your job,” as he described it – Lampard accepts his managerial credentials will be questioned as he attempts to haul Everton out of relegation trouble.

Within these rankings you will find all manner of dunces, dumbfucks, douchebags, and doofs. Each of these archetypes exist under the tentpole of idiocy, but they are not quite the same thing. So, before we begin our show, let’s explore the phenomenon a bit. What is an idiot? Is there any point to nailing down an objective definition, or can one only know it when they see it, like pornography? Can it be achieved in one grand flourish, or is it the sum of a…

ALL THEY NEED TO DO IS BOND OVER THESE CHEESY DOODLES

You might have thought that ESPN's Stephen A. Smith wisdom and expertise were limited to trying to cover his mistakes by lying or the " naming Web sites. But no. He is so much more versatile than that: Stephen A. not only understands Allen Iverson, he wants to be like George Clooney and go over there and solve that thing. Yes — and we're not kidding here — the fine folks at CNN, desperately to fill weekend airtime, asked Stephen A. and other "radio personalities" to discuss the Middle East crisis, terrorism and homeland security. No: They really did this. We don't have video, tragically, but we do have some transcripts. Here's our terror-filled world explained and solved, the Stephen A. way. You have a lot of people out there looking saying…
